Classes for Teens 14-18

Absolute Beginner. The heart and soul of our studio, these classes are designed for students that have never used a sewing machine. They include all materials and the use of a sewing machine. Please note that due to time constraints students are not permitted to bring their own machine to Absolute Beginner classes. Email us if you’d like to schedule a 90-minute private lesson to learn how to use your personal machine.

Beginner. These classes are designed for teens 14-18 years who know how to sew a simple seam with backstitch at start and end. They include all materials and the use of a sewing machine. Students may bring their own machines ONLY if it includes a walking foot and the student knows how to thread it, change the needle, wind/change the bobbin, select a stitch, change the foot, and adjust tension.
