Materials included for 3 pouches.

Beginner students will continue to practice the basics of machine sewing and learn to use a zipper presser foot to install a zipper. They will apply their skills to a project, a zippered pouch with a lining.  Students will complete at least one pouch in class and leave with fabric and zipper for 2 additional pouches, for a total of 3.

All materials included. Fabric options will vary.

Prerequisite skills:

-straight seam with backstitch
-pressing with an iron

New skills acquired:

-install a zipper/use a zipper foot
