Materials included for 4 coasters and 4 napkins.

Beginner level students will make a set of 4 dinner size napkins (18” x 18”) with mitered corners and a set of 4 coasters (4” square). Mitered corners is a skill that can be used for many different projects.  Students will complete at least one napkin and one coaster in class and will take any unfinished materials home with them. 

All materials included. Fabric options will vary.

Prerequisite skills:

-straight seam with a backstitch
-pressing with an iron

New skills acquired:

-mitered corners
-topstitching
